Variable-radius pie · Linear radius

The same Z interpolates radius without changing angular values.

Use variable-radius sectors when two separate measures matter. Value determines angle; Z determines radius. Default area scaling interpolates squared radius, but sector area also depends on angle and does not encode Z alone.

Supply up to 16 complete id/label/value/z rows with finite nonnegative values. Optional zDomain is a nonnegative increasing pair containing every Z. Otherwise the radius domain follows visible rows. Zero angular value stays navigable without a painted sector.

options.layout.minRadiusRatio is 0–1, default 0.25; radiusScale is area or radius, default area. Colours, legend, labels, individual detail and pinning are supported. No axes, viewport, shared tooltip, point overrides or marker controls.
