Spline · Trend over time

UTC dates and shared detail over original values.

Use a spline for a smooth trend with a meaningful ordered X axis. The curve stays within neighbouring values; it does not add observations.

Provide the same strictly typed coordinates as lines. Missing values break the curve by default. Repeated or unordered numeric X coordinates are diagnosed.

Configure markers, line width, shared tooltips, references, legends and viewport. Interpolation is fixed; competing curve options are rejected.
