Histogram · Constant samples

One bin retains every equal sample.

Use a histogram to inspect a numeric sample distribution. Column height is the sample count in each derived interval.

Supply up to 10,000 finite numeric samples, including negatives. binCount is an integer from 1 to 64; omitted uses Sturges. Bins include the left edge; only the last includes its right edge. A constant source produces one bin.

The X axis shows a small set of numeric bin boundaries; the tooltip exposes the full interval and count. Set appearance.series[].name to name the derived series. Summary retains raw sample count, mean and sample standard deviation. Axes, labels, colours and legend are available. No shared tooltip, viewport, reference lines, markers, point overrides or stacking.
