Error bars · Zero-height interval

Coincident endpoints remain inspectable data.

Use error bars when the source already defines low and high bounds. The chart does not infer uncertainty, confidence levels or standard error from raw samples.

Named series contain stable id/x/low/high points. Bounds must be finite and ordered or both null. A coincident pair remains semantic data. Category, numeric and UTC-time X are supported.

options.layout.capWidth is 0–1, default 1. Configure axes, colours, legend, labels, shared or individual endpoint detail, references and viewport. No stacking, line-marker controls or point overrides.
