Dendrogram · Vertical clustering
Orientation changes without altering distances or IDs.
Use an existing clustering hierarchy to inspect merge distances. Leaves align at zero even at different depths. This is a clustering diagram, rather than a generic tree with equal-depth branches; it does not calculate clusters from raw samples.
root contains stable globally unique id, optional label, nonnegative height and ordered children. Supply every internal height or none. Parents must not be lower than children; leaves have height zero. Without internal heights the chart explicitly derives topology levels. Maximum128 nodes,64 leaves, depth16. A physical unit requires measured heights.
layout.orientation chooses horizontal or vertical. axes.visible controls the height guides without changing data. appearance.dataLabels controls bounded leaf names; lineWidth and series ID tree style the branches. There is no visibility legend, shared tooltip, stacking, numeric viewport, reference line or global format override. Every source node remains inspectable, including coincident zero-distance nodes through Previous/Next.
