Use boxes to compare minimum, first quartile, median, third quartile and maximum. Supply calculated summaries: this chart does not calculate quartiles from raw samples or infer outliers.

Named series contain id/x/minimum/q1/median/q3/maximum. All five values must be finite and ordered, or all null for a gap. Category, numeric and UTC-time X are supported.

Whisker cap width is options.layout.whiskerWidth, 0–1, default 0.5. Detail and accessible navigation retain all five numbers; shared detail uses a docked panel when needed. Axes, legend, labels, references and viewport are supported. No stacking, line-marker controls or point overrides.
